ok here's the real Down low on some of the new sweet assasian skills

Iron Palm= heavy GvG use and maybe HA use
Iron palm is meant for pressure and not spiking, it takes too long imo to cast and the after cast is long for me. besides that it pwns

Wastrels' Collapse=new shadow prison, and a little better

I love this new skill, i play hero battles a lot and this skill will dominate it for as long as it has it's current functionality. it's just like shove only no dmg and and a shadow step

the others are really more for a caster.

Also I changed my mind about Hundred Blades after seeing how it works (I didn't interpret it as an extra packet on who you're hitting). It's amazing now.

Boon Prot with Cultist Fevor isn't half bad. A bit spammy like the old HC monk but you can afford to bring some actual prots (like SB) in RA.

The palmstrike thing bothers me.
As when things get buffed and their deemed OP, they get nerfed harder than they were before the buff.
If anyones listening...either remove the criple or revert the recharge, 1 of the 2, if your going to nerf, or make the cripple happen to moving foes....I dunno but don't make it worse than before.

Also...I kinda like Mark of Insecurity....since I've been wanting it to cause Degen for quite awhile now...however 90%? Thats overkill, why not keep it at 50% or raise to 60%, why cause 90%?
Your just drawing unwanted attention to this skill.

Also remove the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin shadow step from Wastrels, other then that, sounds awesome.

20 of the 40 skill changed are bad and going to produce broken stuff, wastrels collapse, palm strike, ect. Lingering Curse is rediculous, and probably the most broken now. Izzy still proves he should be fired, but nothing new here.

life sheath = RoF + dismiss. Great, now I just have to use sheath + patient and get a free skill slot

overall, I liked this update.

Incoming is now an elite fallback.... What the heck is wrong with that picture? They couldn't think of anything better to change the skill to, than to copy another skill entirely. The only buff is that it won't end on attack, big whoop.

There are some interesting changes though, which everyone will now be abusing.

Update just epitomizes what I think is the biggest issue with Izzy's design philosophy. Mainly, in that it shows Izzy doesn't really seem to have one. Time after time, I just looks like Izzy really has no idea how he wants this game to play. Bsurge is the most obvious example. On one hand, it gets ether renewal'd, then buffed up to be better than it ever was in the first place. We already went through the problem of sins having broken shadow steps and off-dual-off-dual chains. Why the hell is Izzy reintroducing these, going back to how it was before? It wasn't fun then (that's why it was nerfed), and it sure as hell isn't going to be fun this time either.

I'm actually fine with the bsurge buff for the most part though. I felt the nerf was unnecessary in the first place, and felt even more so when you continued to let steam exist in its current form.

Anyway, these to me seem to be the obvious quick fixes.

palm strike : need a higher recharge, shorter cripple, or higher cost (or maybe a combination of these). It's way too spammable.

Mark of Insecurity : too easy to just spam. That, and it needs almost no spec to be stupidly powerful. It lasts longer than its recharge at only 5 deadly arts and only costs 5 energy. Make it require a longer spec and probably even up the recharge a bit so preveiling vs can actually make it somewhat manageable, and so a character with 10 deadly arts or so can't basically maintain this two targets.

Enraged Smash: Make it so this skill only gives you the bonus damage and adrenaline on successfully meeting the condition.

sure other stuff might crop up, but these are the most obvious problems to me.

that was their intention with this update: to introduce fun new options. think about it, if they only ever worked with the skills currently in use, fine-tuning and tweaking them, but never introducing anything else, the game would just become more and more limited and stale. that isnt the way to go, this update is. try to appreciate the effort.

that said, keep all the sin changes.

They changed "Incoming" to another running skill which will made it almost useless in PvE, as for PvP, I don't care for too much but if needed running skill for entire party use Fall back or Charge. Just leave Incoming in PvE back to previous functionality. This change of functionality is plain stupid.

Imo, Incoming should be something like that: If there are a moving foes in your earshot range, foes that are coming to you, allys in your hearshot has (idk, armor, block, speed, whatever) for 1-2 seconds, for each foe moving.
